I love to listen but cant work features

Great fast news but none of the buttons work. I can turn it on and play from start. Sometimes I can pause.
But I can’t go back to replay, cant go forward to skip something I am not interested in.
Always have to start at the beginning.
I have latest iOS. Don’t know what problem is but I still use it daily.
